റെഡ്-ആൻറ്-ഗ്രീൻ മക്കാവ് (Ara chloropterus), പച്ച-ചിറകുള്ള മാക്ക എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു.[3] അറ എന്ന ജനുസ്സിൽ ഏറിയ പങ്കും വലിയ ചുവന്ന മാക ആണ് കാണപ്പെടുന്നത്. വടക്കേ-മധ്യ തെക്കൻ അമേരിക്കയിലെ വനമേഖലയിലും വനപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും വ്യാപകമായി കാണപ്പെടുന്ന ഇവ ജീനസ് അറ യിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പക്ഷിയാണ്. എന്നിരുന്നാലും സമീപകാലത്ത് മറ്റ് മാക്കകളുമായി സാമ്യം പുലർത്തുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ആവാസവ്യവസ്ഥയുടെ നാശംമൂലവും കച്ചവടത്തിനായി നിയമവിരുദ്ധമായി പിടിക്കുന്നതുമൂലവും അവയുടെ എണ്ണം ഗണ്യമായി കുറഞ്ഞു.
