വടക്കൻ നമിബിയയിലെ കവങൊ-കിഴക്കൻ മേഖലയുടെ തലസ്ഥാനംറുണ്ടു (Rundu) ആണ്. അങൊളയുടെ അതിരിൽ കവങൊ പുഴയുടെ അടുത്താണ്. സമുദ്ര നിരപ്പിൽ നിന്ന് 1000മീ. ഉയരത്തിലാണ്[2]
Rundu is growing rapidly. The 2001 census counted 36,964 inhabitants;[3] and for the 2011 census it has climbed to 63,430.
