യൂറോപ്യൻ തേൻകൊതിച്ചിപ്പരുന്ത് അഥവാ യൂറോപ്യൻ ഹണി ബസ്സാർഡ് (പെർണിസ് അപിവോറസ്) കോമൺ പെർൺ എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു, അസിപിട്രിഡേ കുടുംബത്തിലെ ഒരു ഇരപിടിയൻ പക്ഷിയാണ്.

[തിരുത്തുക]1758-ൽ സ്വീഡിഷ് പ്രകൃതിശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞനായ കാൾ ലിന്നേയസ് തന്റെ സിസ്റ്റമാ നാച്ചുറെയുടെ പത്താം പതിപ്പിൽ യൂറോപ്യൻ തേൻകൊതിച്ചിപ്പരുന്തിനെ ഔപചാരികമായി വിവരിച്ച. അദ്ദേഹം ഫാൽക്കോ ജനുസ്സിലെ ഫാൽക്കണുകൾക്കും കഴുകന്മാർക്കുമൊപ്പം ഇത് ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ഫാൽക്കോ അപിവോറസ് എന്ന ബൈനോമിയൽ നാമം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[2][3] ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പ്രകൃതിശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞനായ ഫ്രാൻസിസ് വില്ലുബ്ബിയുടെ 1678-ലെ വിവരണവും ജോൺ റേ 1713-ലെ വിവരണവുമുൾപ്പെടെ മുൻകാല കൃതികൾ ലിന്നേയസ് ഉദ്ധരിച്ചു.[4][5] 1816-ൽ ജോർജ്ജ് കുവിയർ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച പെർണിസ് ജനുസ്സിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ള നാല് ഇനങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് യൂറോപ്യൻ തേൻ ബസാർഡ്.[6] ഈ ഇനം മോണോടൈപ്പിക് ആണ്ഃ ഉപജാതികളൊന്നും തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല.[6]
ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് നാമം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടും, ഈ ഇനം ബ്യൂട്ടിയോയിലെ യഥാർത്ഥ ബസാർഡുകളേക്കാൾ ലെപ്റ്റോഡോൺ, ചോൻഡ്രോഹീറാക്സ് ജനുസ്സിലെ പട്ടങ്ങളുമായി കൂടുതൽ ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.[7]
