മുള്ളൻ പുൽക്കുരുവിയ്ക്ക്[4] [5][6][7] ആംഗലത്തിൽ bristled grassbird, bristled grass warbler എന്നാണ്പേരുകൾ. ശാസ്ത്രീയ നാമം Chaetornis striata എന്നാണ്. . സ്ഥിരവാസിയാണ്. തണുപുകാലത്ത് തെക്കേ ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് ദേശാടനം ചെയ്യാറുണ്ട്.കാലാവ്സ്ഥയ്ക്കനുസരിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഉപ ഭൂഖണ്ഡത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിലേക്ക് നീങ്ങുകയും തണുപ്പുകാലം കഴിയുമ്പോൾ പ്രജനനത്തിനായിഹിമാലയത്തിന്റെ തെക്കു ഭാഗത്ത് എത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.
രൂപ വിവരണം[തിരുത്തുക]
ചിറകു മുതൽ ഉച്ചിവരെ തവിട്ടു നിറത്തിൽ വീതി കൂടിയ കടുത്ത വരകളുണ്ട്. വാലിന്റെ അറ്റം വെള്ളയാണ്. ബലമുള്ള കൊകുക്കുകൾ ഉണ്ട്. [8] കാലുകൾക്ക് തവിട്ടു നിറം, കൊക്കുനു കറുപ്പു നിറം, താഴെ കൊക്കിന്റെ അറ്റം നീലകലർന്ന ചാര നിറം.[9] മങ്ങിയ പുരികം, അടിവശത്ത് അടയാളങ്ങൾ ഒന്നുമില്ല. [10]പെൺ പെൺ പക്ഷിയുടെ നീളം 16 മുതൽ17 സെ.മീ വരെ, ആൺപക്ഷിക്ക് 14.5 മുതൽ 15.5 സെ.മീ വരെ, ചിറകു വിരിപ്പ് 80 മുതൽ 92 സെന്റീ മീറ്റർ വരെ, പൂവന്റെ വാലിന് 7.2 മുതൽ 8.2 സെന്റ.മീറ്റർ വരെയും വാലിന് 8.4സെന്റി മീറ്റർ മുതൽ -9.0 സെന്റീ മീറ്റർ വരേയും ഉണ്ട്
വിതരണം[തിരുത്തുക]
ഇന്ത്യ, പാകിസ്താൻ]], നേപ്പാൾ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ സ്ഥിരവാസിയാണ്. കൂട്ടമായി നിൽക്കുന്ന് ഉയർന്ന പുല്ലുകൾക്കിടയിൽ ഒളിച്ചു കഴിയാൻ ആണ് ഇഷ്ടം. . ഇന്ത്യൻ ഉപഭൂഖണ്ഡത്തിൽ വടക്കു ഭാഗത്ത് ഇവ കാണുന്നു. [11] [12] കൂടാതെ ബംഗ്ലാദേശ്, നേപ്പാൾ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലും കാണുന്നു. [13] ഹിമാലയത്തിൽ തെക്കു ഭാഗത്തുള്ള പുഴയുടെ വശങ്ങളിൽ പ്രജനനം നടത്തുന്ന ഇവ തണുപ്പു കാലത്ത് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഉപ ഭൂഖണ്ഡത്തിലെ തെക്കെ അറ്റത്തേക്കും കിഴ്ശ്ക്കു ഭാഗത്തേക്കും ദേശാടനം നടത്തുന്നു.[10][14]പുൽമേടുകളുടേയും ചതുപ്പുകളുടേയും നാശം കാരണം ഇവയുടെ വംശം ഭീഷണി നേരിടുന്നുണ്ട്.

തീറ്റ[തിരുത്തുക]
പുല്ലുകൾക്കീടയിലുള്ള പ്രാണികളാണ് ഭക്ഷണം.
പ്രജനനം[തിരുത്തുക]
ഇണയെ ആകർഷിക്കാൻ പുല്ലുകൾക്ക് മുകളിലൂടെ വളഞ്ഞു പുളഞ്ഞു പറന്ന് പെട്ടെന്ന് താഴേക്ക് വരുന്നു. പ്രജനന കാലം മേയ് മുതൽ സെപ്തംബർ വരെയാണ്. പുല്ലുകളുടെ അടി വശത്ത് പുല്ലുകൊണ്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ള പന്തു പോലുള്ള കൂടാണ് ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നത്. 4-5 മുട്ടകളിടുന്നു. <[8] വെള്ള മുട്ടകളിൽ ചുവന്ന, പിങ്കു നിറത്തിൽ അടയാളമുണ്ട് [15]
