ന്യൂയോർക്കിലെ ന്യൂയോർക്ക് സിറ്റിയിൽ, ബ്രയാർവുഡ് / കെവ് ഗാർഡൻസ്,ക്യൂൻസിലെ 127-15 കെവ് ഗാർഡൻസ് റോഡിലുള്ള ഒരു ചരിത്ര സ്മാരകമാണ് മാപ്പിൾ ഗ്രോവ് സെമിത്തേരി. ഈ ചരിത്ര സ്മാരകം 2004-ൽ ചരിത്രപ്രാധാന്യമുള്ള സ്ഥലങ്ങളുടെ ദേശീയ രജിസ്റ്ററിൽ ചേർത്തു.[2]
ചരിത്രം[തിരുത്തുക]
കേണൽ വില്ല്യം സ്റ്റെർലിംഗ് കോഗ്സ്വെല്ലും ബിസിനസ് പങ്കാളികളും ചേർന്ന് 1875-ൽ സ്ഥാപിച്ച 65 ഏക്കർ സെമിത്തേരിയാണ് മാപ്പിൾ ഗ്രോവ്. അതിൽ രണ്ട് വിഭാഗങ്ങളുണ്ട്. സ്മാരക പാർക്ക്, മെമ്മോറിയൽ പാർക്ക്. 1875-ൽ പാരമ്പര്യ ഗ്രാമീണ ശ്മശാന വനത്തിലൂടെ വിശാലദൃശ്യഭംഗികൾ കാണാൻ കഴിയുന്ന റോഡുകൾ കടന്നുപോകുന്ന കുന്നിൻ പ്രദേശത്ത് ക്യൂൻസ് ബൊലേവാഡിൽ പ്രവേശന കവാടത്തോടു കൂടിയ ആദ്യ വിഭാഗം വിക്ടോറിയൻ ഈറ സ്മാരക പാർക്ക് തുറന്നു.
