ഒരു സാന്തനോയിഡ് ആണ് മാംഗിഫെറിൻ. ഈ തന്മാത്ര നോരാതൈറിയോളിന്റെ ഗ്ലൂക്കോസൈഡാണ്.
സ്വാഭാവിക സംഭവങ്ങൾ[തിരുത്തുക]
മാംഗിഫെറിൻ ആദ്യം വേർതിരിച്ചെടുത്തത് മാവിന്റെ ഇലകളിൽ നിന്നും പുറംതൊലിയിൽ നിന്നുമാണ്.[1] ഇത് മാമ്പഴത്തോലിൽ നിന്നും മാവണ്ടിയിൽ നിന്നും വേർതിരിച്ചെടുക്കാം,[2][3] ഐറിസ് അൺഗ്യുക്യുലാരിസ്,[4] അനെമറേന ആസ്ഫോഡെലോയ്‌ഡ്സ് റൈസോമുകൾ[5] , ഇലവിന്റെ ഇലകൾ[6] സലാസിയ, സൈക്ലോപ്പിയ എന്നീ ജനുസ്സുകളിലും കാപ്പി ഇലകളിലും ഇത് കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.
"അപ്പലാച്ചിയൻ ആസ്പ്ലേനിയം കോംപ്ലക്സ്" എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന അസ്പ്ലേനിയം സങ്കരയിനങ്ങളിൽ, മാംഗിഫെറിൻ, ഐസോമാംഗിഫെറിൻ എന്നിവ ഉത്പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് അസ്പ്ലേനിയം മൊണ്ടാനവും അതിന്റെ സങ്കര പിൻഗാമികളും മാത്രമാണ്. അൾട്രാവയലറ്റ് രശ്മികൾക്ക് കീഴിലുള്ള ഈ സംയുക്തങ്ങളുടെ വ്യതിരിക്തമായ സ്വർണ്ണ-ഓറഞ്ച് ഫ്ലൂറസെൻസ് ഹൈബ്രിഡ് അസ്പ്ലേനിയങ്ങളുടെ ക്രോമാറ്റോഗ്രാഫിക് തിരിച്ചറിയലിനെ സഹായിക്കാൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. 2019 വരെ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ച രോഗ വിരുദ്ധ ഫലങ്ങളോ കുറിപ്പടി മരുന്നുകളോ അംഗീകരിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെങ്കിലും, മാംഗിഫെറിൻ[8] സാധ്യതയുള്ള ജീവശാസ്ത്രപരമായ ഗുണങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് പ്രാഥമിക ഗവേഷണം നടത്തുന്നു.[9]
