ബെനിനിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം
ബെനിൻ ആഫ്രിക്കൻ രാജ്യമാണ്. അവിടത്തെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിൽ 2007ലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ ഫോറത്തിന്റെ നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങളനുസരിച്ച് ഫീസ് ഇല്ലാതാക്കി.[1] ബെനിനിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം സൗജന്യമായിരുന്നില്ല.[2]) 1996ൽ 59.3% കുട്ടികൾ മാത്രമേ സ്കൂളിൽ ചേർന്നിരുന്നുള്ളു. പെൺകുട്ടികളേക്കാൾ ആൺകുട്റ്റികൾ ആണ് സ്കൂളിൽ കൂടുതൽ ചെന്നത്. ആൺകുട്ടികളും പെൺകുട്ടികളും തമ്മിലുള്ള അന്തരം വളരെക്കൂടുതലാണിവിടെ. 1996ൽ, 88.4% ആൺകുട്ടികൾ സ്കൂളിൽ ചേർന്നപ്പോൾ 55.7% പെൺകുട്ടികളേ ചേർന്നുള്ളു.പൊതുവേ 71.6 ശതമാനം ആൺകുട്ടികൾ ചെർന്നെങ്കിൽ 46.2 ശതമാനം പെങ്കുട്ടികൾ മാത്രമേ ചെർന്നുള്ളു. 2001ലെ പ്രാഥാമിക വിദ്യാലയങ്ങളിലെ ഹാജർ നില ലഭ്യമല്ല. ഇക്കാണുന്ന സ്കൂളിൽ ചെർന്ന കണക്കുകൾ കുട്ടികൾ സ്കൂളിൽ ചേർന്ന് പഠിച്ച് ഗുണാത്മകമായി സ്കൂൾ പഠനം പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയതിന്റെ കണക്കല്ല..)
പെട്ടെന്നുള്ള സ്കൂളിൽ ചേരുന്ന നിരക്കിലുള്ള വർദ്ധന, വിദ്യാർത്ഥി അദ്ധ്യാപക ആനുപാതം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു. 1990ൽ 36:1 ആയിരുന്നത് 1997ൽ 53:1 ആയി മാറി. ആകെയുള്ള മുതിർന്നവരുടെ സാക്ഷരതാനിരക്ക് 40% ആണ്.[3] ബെനിനിലെ 25% സ്ത്രീകൾ മാത്രമേ സാക്ഷരരായിട്ടുള്ളു.

സ്കൂൾ സംവിധാനം[തിരുത്തുക]
റിപ്പബ്ലിക് ഓഫ് ബെനിൻ 6-4-3-3-4 എന്ന രീതിയിലാണ് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്:[4]
- പ്രീ സ്കൂൾ: 6 years
- ജൂണിയർ ഹൈസ്കൂൾ: 4 years
- സീനിയർ ഹൈസ്കൂൾ: 3 years
- ബിരുദം: 3 years
- ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദം: 4 years
6 മുതൽ 11 വരെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നിർബന്ധിതമാണ്. കിൻഡർഗാർട്ടനുശേഷം, 6 വർഷം പഠിച്ചാൽ മാത്രമേ പ്രാഥമികസ്കൂൾ സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റു ലഭിക്കൂ. ജൂണിയറും സീനിയറുമായ ഹൈസ്കൂൾ കഴിയാൻ 7 വർഷമെടുക്കും. At the end of the four first years of junior high school, the students have to take the O-level (Brevet d’Etudes du Premier Cycle: BEPC). After three years the students have to take the A level (Baccalauréat: BAC) exam which is the equivalent of the U.S. high school diploma.

ഗ്രേഡ് സംവിധാനം 0 മുതൽ 20 വരെയാണ്. 20 ആണ് ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച ഗ്രേഡ്.
- പാസ്സാകാനുള്ള ഗ്രേഡ്: 10
- താരതമ്യേന നല്ല ഗ്രേഡ്: 12
- നല്ല ഗ്രേഡ്: 14-15
- വളരെ നല്ല ഗ്രേഡ്: 16-17
- മികച്ച ഗ്രേഡ്: 18-20
