ലെബനീസ് രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രവർത്തകയും[1] മുൻ ലെബനാൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി റഫീക് ഹരീരിയുടെ സഹോദരിയുമാണ് [2][3]ബഹിയ ഹരീരി (English: Bahia Bahaeddine Hariri (Arabic: بهية الحريري) (ജനനം 1952).
ആദ്യകാല ജീവിതം, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം[തിരുത്തുക]
1952ൽ ലെബനാനിലെ സിദോനിൽ ജനിച്ചു. റഫീഖ് ഹരീരി, ഷഫീഖ് ഹരീരി എന്നിവർ സഹോദരങ്ങളാണ്[4]. 1970ൽ ടീച്ചേഴ്‌സ് അക്കാദമിയിൽ നിന്ന് ബിരുദം നേടി.
ഔദ്യോഗികജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]
1979 വരെ സൗത്ത് ലെബനാനിൽ അധ്യാപികയായി ജോലി ചെയ്തു.[3] 1979ൽ സഹോദരൻ റഫീഖ് ഹരീരി സിദോനിൽ സ്ഥാപിച്ച വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ ചാരിറ്റബിൾ സ്ഥാപനമായ[4] ഹരീരി ഫൗണ്ടേഷന്റെ മേധാവിയായി.[3] ഹരീരി സായിദ ഫൗണ്ടേഷന്റെ അഡ്മിനിസ്‌ട്രേറ്റീവ് കൗൺസിൽ പ്രസിഡന്റായും സേവനം അനുഷ്ടിച്ചു.
1992ൽ ലെബനാനിലെ സെയ്ദ സീറ്റിൽ നിന്ന് പാർലമെന്റംഗമായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. 1996ലും 2000ലും അതേ സീറ്റിൽ നിന്ന് വീണ്ടും തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു.[5] 2008 ജൂലൈ മുതൽ 2009 നവംബർ വരെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രിയായിരുന്നു.[3]
വ്യക്തി ജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]
ബാഹിയ ഹരീരി തന്റെ കസിനായ മുസ്തഫ ഹരീരിയെയാണ് വിവാഹം ചെയ്തത്. ഈ ബന്ധത്തിൽ നാലു മക്കളുണ്ട്.[3]
