ബംഗ്ലാദേശിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനു മൂന്നു തലമുണ്ട്. അത് സർക്കാർ സബ്സിഡിയോടെയാണ് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്. ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് സർക്കാർ ആണ് അവിടത്തെ പ്രാഥമികവും ദ്വിതീയവും ഉന്നതവുമായ മിക്ക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും നടത്തുന്നത്. അനേകം സ്വകാര്യ വിദ്യാലയങ്ങൾക്കും ഭാഗികമായ ഫണ്ടു നൽകുന്നുണ്ട്. ബംഗ്ലാദേശിലെ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഗ്രാന്റ്സ് കമ്മിഷൻ 15 സർവ്വകലാശാലകൾക്കു ഫണ്ടു നൽകുന്നു.

ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്ര സഭയുടെ "എല്ലാവർക്കും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം" എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തെ പിൻപറ്റി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുവരുന്ന രാജ്യമാണ്. [3] അതുകൂടാതെ, ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്ര സഭയുടെ സഹസ്രാബ്ദ വികസന ലക്ഷ്യം (Millennium Development Goals (MDG)വും ലഖ്യം വയ്ക്കുന്ന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ നടത്തിവരുന്നുണ്ട്.[4] അതുപോലെ മറ്റു വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സംബന്ധിയായ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളേയും ഈ രാജ്യം പിന്തുടരുന്നു. ബംഗ്ലാദേശിന്റെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ നയം ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന ആർട്ടിക്കിൾ 17 അനുസരിച്ച് അവിടത്തെ എല്ലാ കുട്ടികൾക്കും സൗജന്യവും നിർബന്ധിതവുമായ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നൽകാൻ ആ രാജ്യം ബാദ്ധ്യതപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.[5]

വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സംവിധാനം[തിരുത്തുക]

മൂന്നു തലങ്ങളായി ബംഗ്ലാദേശിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസസംവിധാനം വിഭജിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു:

  • പ്രാഥമിക തലം(ക്ലാസ്സ് 1–8)[6]
  • സെക്കന്ററി തലം (ക്ലാസ്സ് 9–12)[7]
  • മൂന്നാം തലം

എല്ലാ സ്കൂൾ തലത്തിലും കുട്ടികൾക്ക് രണ്ടു മാധ്യമങ്ങളായ ബംഗ്ല, ഇംഗ്ലിഷ് ഇവയിലൊണ്ണു തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കാം. സർക്കാർ വിദ്യാലയങ്ങളിൽ പൊതുവെ പഠനമാദ്ധ്യമം ബംഗ്ല ആണ്. എന്നാൽ, സ്വകാര്യവിദ്യാലയങ്ങൾ ഇംഗ്ലിഷ് ആണു മാദ്ധ്യമമായി സ്വീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

ബംഗ്ലാദേശിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സംവിധാനത്തിൽ കേഡറ്റ് കോളജുകൾക്ക് വലിയ സ്ഥാനമുണ്ട്. ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്ന കോളജുകൾ ആണിത്. കേഡറ്റ് കോളജുകളിൽ സൈനികരീതിയിലുള്ള അച്ചടക്കമാണുള്ളത്. ഫൗജ്‌ദർഹത് കേഡറ്റ് കോളജ് ആണ് ബംഗ്ലാദേശിലെ ആദ്യ കേഡറ്റ് കോളജ്. ചിറ്റഗോങ് സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഫൗജ്ദർഹത് എന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് 1958ൽ സ്ഥാപിച്ച ഈ കോളജിനു 185 ഏക്കർ സ്ഥലമുണ്ട്. ഇപ്പോൾ ബംഗ്ലാദേശിൽ പെൺകുട്ടികൾക്കുള്ള 3 കേഡറ്റ് കോളജുകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ 12 കേഡറ്റ് കോളജുകളുണ്ട്. 

തൃതീയ് ഔന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസസ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ 37 സർക്കാർ കോളജുകളും 80 സ്വകാര്യ കോളജുകളും 3 അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര സർവ്വകലാശാലകളും ഉണ്ട്. ചാർട്ടേഡ് അക്കൗണ്ടൻസി, എഞ്ചിനീയറിങ്, ടെക്നോളജി, കൃഷി, വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്രം എന്നിവയിൽ ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളത് പഠിക്കാനാകും.

സാക്ഷരത[തിരുത്തുക]

ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് ഏഷ്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും താഴ്ന്ന സാക്ഷരതയുള്ള രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ്. 2014ലെ കണക്കുപ്രകാരം, 66.5% പുരുഷന്മാരും 63.1% സ്ത്രീകളും മാത്രമേ സാക്ഷരരായിട്ടുള്ളു. 2015ൽ മൊത്തം സാക്ഷരത 71% ആയതായി പറയപ്പെടുന്നു.[9]
