ഫൈവ് ഹൺഡ്രഡ് മീറ്റർ അപ്പർച്ചർ സ്ഫെറിക്കൽ ടെലിസ്കോപ്പ് അഥവാ ഫാസ്റ്റ് (Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope - FAST) തെക്കു-പടിഞ്ഞാറാൻ ചൈനയിലെ ഗുഷു പ്രവിശ്യയിലെ പിങ്താങ്ങ് മലനിരയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു. 500മീറ്റർ വ്യാസമുള്ള ഈ റേഡിയോ ദൂരദർശിനിയായിരിക്കും ഇനി ലോകത്തിലെ ഒറ്റ ഡിഷിൽ തീർത്ത ഏറ്റവും വലിയ റേഡിയോ ദൂരദർശിനി.[5] റാറ്റാൻ-600 എന്ന എന്ന റഷ്യൻ റേഡിയോ ദൂരദർശിനിക്കു ശേഷം രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനത്തും ഫാസ്റ്റ് ഉണ്ടാവും.[3][6]
ഫാസ്റ്റിന്റെ നിർമ്മാണം 2011ൽ ആരംഭിച്ച് 2016ജൂൺ മാസത്തിൽ പൂർത്തീകരിച്ചു. 2016 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 25 മുതൽ ഇത് പരീക്ഷണാർത്ഥം പ്രവർത്തിപ്പിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി.[7]
