ഫിഷ്‌ലേക്ക് ദേശീയ വനം യൂറ്റായുടെ ദക്ഷിണ മധ്യ മേഖലയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു യു.എസ് ദേശീയ വനമാണ്. സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ശുദ്ധജല പർവത തടാകമായ ഫിഷ് ലേക്ക് ആണ് ദേശീയ വനത്തിൻറെ പേരിന് കാരണമായത്.[5]
ഭൂമിശാസ്ത്രം[തിരുത്തുക]
ഫിഷ് ലേക്ക് ദേശീയ വനവും ഗ്ലെൻവുഡ് ദേശീയ വനവം കൂടിച്ചേർന്ന് 1908-ൽ സ്ഥാപിതമായ ഈ വനം 1.5 ദശലക്ഷം ഏക്കർ (6,100 km2) ഭൂപ്രദേശത്ത് വ്യാപിച്ച് നാല് ജില്ലകളായി വിഭജിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഒമ്പത് കൗണ്ടികളുടെ ഭാഗങ്ങളിലായാണ് വനങ്ങൾ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്.
