അസ്വാൻ ലോ ഡാമിലെ ഒരു ദ്വീപാണ് ഇന്നത്തെ ഫിലെ/ˈfaɪli/ (ഗ്രീക്ക്: Φιλαί, അറബി: فيله Egyptian Arabic: [fiːlæ], Egyptian pꜣ ı͗w q). നൈൽ നദിയിൽ അസ്വാൻ ലോ ഡാം വന്നതോട്കൂടെ ഫിലെ ദ്വീപ് വെള്ളത്തിൽ മുങ്ങിപ്പോവുകയും, ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഫിലെ ക്ഷേത്രവും അതോടപ്പം വെള്ളത്തിനടിയിലാവുകയും ഉണ്ടായി. പിന്നീട് ഫിലെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തെ മുഴുവനായും ചെറിയ ഖണ്ഡങ്ങളായി മുറിച്ചെടുത്ത് അജിൽകിയ എന്ന ദ്വീപിലേക്ക് പുനസ്ഥാപിക്കുകയാണുണ്ടായത് [1] [2]
