Proper ISO 4 usage

{{Infobox journal}} now features ISO 4 redirect detection to help with the creation and maintenance of these redirects, and will populate Category:Articles with missing ISO 4 abbreviation redirects. ISO 4 redirects help readers find journal articles based on their official ISO abbreviations (e.g. J. Phys. A → Journal of Physics A), and also help with compilations like WP:JCW and WP:JCW/TAR.

Template usage

Use this rcat template on mainspace redirects only.

• This redirect category (rcat) template places pages into both വർഗ്ഗം:Redirects from ISO 4 abbreviations and വർഗ്ഗം:Printworthy redirects by default. In 2003, efforts were begun to support the Wikimedia Foundation's goal of increasing access and availability of Wikipedia articles in printed versions. Redirects from ISO 4 abbreviation codes are suitable for a printed version. In other words they are printworthy.

• Add this rcat to a redirect page (not a talk-page redirect) in the following manner:

• Use this rcat to tag mainspace redirects that are abbreviations that follow the ISO 4 standard for serial (e.g. scientific journal) abbreviations. As of December 2013, the International Centre for the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) maintains a resource for the List of Title Word Abbreviations, a multi-lingual abbreviation online lookup service. An example usage of this rcat is J. Nutr.Journal of Nutrition.
• This rcat formats redirect page titles in italics by default.
