ഫലകം:ISO 639 name vi is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code vi, for example: {{Translated page |vi |name of page at Vietnamese Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Vietnamese Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Vietnamese Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |vi}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|vi| some text in Vietnamese}} wraps the text with <span lang="vi"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Vietnamese-language text. Also available is {{Lang-vi |some text in Vietnamese}} which displays as Vietnamese: some text in Vietnamese.
- {{R from other language|vi|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Vietnamese-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|vi}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Vietnamese-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
