2020-ൽ റിലീസായ ഒരു തമിഴ് ചലച്ഛിത്രമാണ് പൊൻമകൾ വന്താൽ . ജെ.ജെ ഫെഡറിക് രചനയും സംവിധാനവും ചെയ്ത ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ നിർമ്മാതാവ് സൂര്യയാണ്. ജ്യോതിക, കെ ഭാഗ്യരാജ്, ആർ. പാർത്ഥിപൻ, ത്യാഗരാജൻ, പ്രതാപ് കെ പോത്തൻ, പാണ്ഡ്യരാജൻ തുടങ്ങി നിരവധി അഭിനേതാക്കൾ ചിത്രത്തിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു. 2020 മെയ് 29 ന് പ്രൈം വീഡിയോയിൽ ചിത്രം റിലീസ് ചെയ്തു.

അഭിഭാഷകയായ വെൻബ (ജ്യോതിക) പതിനഞ്ച് വർഷം പഴക്കമുള്ള ഒരു കേസ് പുനപരിശോധിക്കുവാൻ നടത്തുന്ന പോരാട്ടമാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ ഉള്ളടക്കം. ശക്തിജ്യോതി എന്ന ജ്യോതി എന്ന സീരിയൽ കില്ലർ യഥാർത്ഥ പ്രതിയല്ലെന്ന് സ്ഥാപിക്കാനാണ് വെൻബയുടെ വാദത്തിലൂടെ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്. സ്വന്തം അനുഭവസാക്ഷ്യങ്ങളുടെ നാടകീയമായ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തലുകളിലൂടെയാണ് കോടതിരംഗങ്ങൾ മുന്നോട്ടുപോകുന്നത്. ജ്യോതി തട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയതായി സി.സി.ടി.വി വീഡിയോയിൽ കാണുന്ന പെൺകുട്ടിയെ യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ ജ്യോതി രക്ഷിക്കുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് വാദിച്ച അവർ താൻ തന്നെയായിരുന്നു ആ പെൺകുട്ടി എന്ന് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി. യഥാർത്ഥപ്രതിയായ വരദരാജനെ നിയമത്തിന് മുന്നിൽ കൊണ്ടുവരാൻ കഥാന്ത്യത്തിൽ വെൻബ എന്ന അഭിഭാഷകക്ക് സാധിക്കുന്നു.

റിലീസ്[തിരുത്തുക]

പൊൻമകൾ വന്താൽ 2020 മെയ് 29 ന് പ്രൈം വീഡിയോയിൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങി[1]. 2020 മാർച്ച് 27 ന് ഇത് തീയറ്ററുകളിൽ റിലീസ് ചെയ്യാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കിലും കോവിഡ് -19 പാൻഡെമിക് കാരണം, തിയറ്റർ റിലീസ് ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു[2]. തിയേറ്ററുകൾക്ക് സാമ്പത്തിക നഷ്ടമുണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി തമിഴ്‌നാട്ടിലെ തിയേറ്റർ ഓണേഴ്‌സ് അസോസിയേഷൻ അംഗങ്ങൾ സൂര്യ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നതോ അഭിനയിക്കുന്നതോ ആയ സിനിമകൾ ബഹിഷ്‌കരിക്കുമെന്ന് ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തി[3]. ഈ ചിത്രം തെലുങ്കിൽ ബംഗാരു തള്ളി എന്ന പേരിൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങുകയുണ്ടായി.[4]
