ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ ഓർത്തോപെഡിക് സർജനും ന്യൂഡൽഹിയിലെ സർ ഗംഗാ റാം സിറ്റി ആശുപത്രിയിലെ സീനിയർ കൺസൾട്ടന്റ് സർജനുമാണ് പൃഥിപാൽ സിംഗ് മൈനി. [1] ന്യൂഡൽഹിയിലെ സമാ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിലെ കൺസൾട്ടന്റ് ഓർത്തോപീഡിസ്റ്റ് കൂടിയാണ് അദ്ദേഹം. [2]
മൈനി നിരവധി ക്ലിനിക്കൽ, മെഡിക്കൽ ട്രയലുകൾ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുകയും ഇന്ത്യയിലെ നിരവധി മെഡിക്കൽ സ്കൂളുകളിൽ പഠിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. [3] അദ്ദേഹം മഹർഷി ദയാനന്ദ് സർവകലാശാലയിലെ ഒരു എമിരറ്റസ് പ്രൊഫസറായി ആണ്. താങ്ങാവുന്ന ആരോഗ്യ പ്രമോട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു സംഘടനയായ പാത്ത്ഫൈൻഡർ ആരോഗ്യ ഇന്ത്യ ഗ്രൂപ്പ് വൈസ് ചെയർമാനും ആണദ്ദേഹം.[4][5] 2001 ൽ പഞ്ചാബ് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയായിരുന്ന പ്രകാശ് സിംഗ് ബാദലിന് വീഴ്ച നേരിട്ടപ്പോൾ, ഫെമൂർ ഒടിവ് ശരിയാക്കാൻ മൈനി തന്നെയാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ശസ്ത്രക്രിയ നടത്തിയത്. [6] 2001 ൽ പഞ്ചാബ് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയിൽ നിന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഓർഡർ ഓഫ് നിഷാൻ-ഇ-ഖൽസ ബഹുമതി ലഭിച്ചു. [7] [8] ഇന്ത്യൻ വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്രത്തിന് നൽകിയ സംഭാവനകൾക്ക് 2007 ൽ ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന മൂന്നാമത്തെ സിവിലിയൻ ബഹുമതിയായ പദ്മഭൂഷൻ ഇന്ത്യൻ സർക്കാർ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നൽകി. [9]
