പിങ്ക് ടെറാസ് , or Te Otukapuarangi ("The fountain of the clouded sky") മയോറി, വൈറ്റ് ടെറാസ് , Te Tarata ("the tattooed rock"), എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇവ ന്യൂസിലാൻഡിന്റെ പ്രകൃതി അത്ഭുതങ്ങളാണ്.[1] ഭൂമിയിലെ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങളിൽ സിൻടെർ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ സിലിക്ക നിക്ഷേപമാണെന്നാണ് അവർ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളത്.
