പശുസംരക്ഷകരുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾ
ഇന്ത്യയിൽ പശുസംരക്ഷണത്തിനായി ആൾക്കൂട്ടമോ സംഘടനകളോ നടത്തുന്ന സംഘടിത അതിക്രമങ്ങളെയാണ് പശുസംരക്ഷകരുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾ എന്ന് പറയുന്നത്. ആദ്യമൊക്കെ അനധികൃത പശുക്കച്ചവടക്കാരെ ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടുവന്ന ഇത്തരം സംഘങ്ങൾ മിക്ക സന്ദർഭങ്ങളിലും നിയമം കയ്യിലെടുത്തുകൊണ്ട് അക്രമം നടത്തുകയും അത് അടിച്ചുകൊല്ലൽ വരെ എത്തുകയും ചെയ്തുവന്നു. എന്നാൽ രാഷ്ട്രീയസ്വാധീനം കൈവന്നതോടെ അംഗീകൃത പശുക്കച്ചവടക്കാർ വരെ ഇത്തരം അതിക്രമങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇരകളായിത്തുടങ്ങി.[1][2] 2014-ന് ശേഷം വർഗ്ഗീയ അക്രമങ്ങൾ കുറഞ്ഞതായി ഇന്ത്യൻ ഭരണകൂടം അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും അത് പല ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ട്.[3][4] ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മിക്ക സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലും കന്നുകാലി കശാപ്പ് നിരോധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.[5] അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ഇത്തരം അതിക്രമങ്ങളെത്തുടർന്ന് പലപ്പോഴും അക്രമത്തിനിരയായവർ തന്നെ പ്രതികളായി കേസുചുമത്തപ്പെടാറാണ് പതിവ്. അക്രമികൾക്കെതിരെ പലപ്പോഴും കേസുകൾ ഉണ്ടാവാറില്ല. നിയമം സംരക്ഷിക്കുകയാണ് തങ്ങളെന്നാണ് ഇത്തരം സംഘങ്ങൾ അവകാശപ്പെടാറ്. 2010 നും 2017 നും ഇടയിൽ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ 63 പശു ജാഗ്രതാ ആക്രമണങ്ങൾ നടന്നിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് റോയിട്ടേഴ്സ് റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഈ കാലയളവിൽ 28 മനുഷ്യർ ഇതിന്റെ പേരിൽ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടതിൽ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും 2014-ൽ നരേന്ദ്ര മോഡി അധികാരമേറിയ ശേഷമാണ് എന്നും റിപ്പോർട്ടിൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. 124 പേർക്ക് ഈ കാലത്ത് പരിക്കേറ്റു[6]. എന്നാൽ 2017-ന് ശേഷം 2021 വരെ 15 മരണങ്ങളും 21 പേർക്ക് പരിക്കും റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
