പ്രശസ്തനായ വന ജീവി ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫറും ഡോക്യുമെന്ററി സംവിധായകനുമാണ് നരേഷ് ബേദി. സഹോദരൻ രാജേഷ് ബേദിയുമൊത്ത് നിരവധി ഡോക്യുമെന്ററികൾ നിർമ്മിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഗ്രീൻ ഓസ്കാർ പുരസ്കാരം ആദ്യമായി ലഭിച്ച ഇന്ത്യക്കാരനാണ്. 2015 ൽ പത്മശ്രീ പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ചു.

ഇന്ത്യൻ സംസ്ഥാനമായ ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡിലെ ഹരിദ്വാറിൽ വൈൽഡ് ലൈഫ് ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫറും ഈ വിഷയത്തിൽ 74 പുസ്തകങ്ങളുടെ രചയിതാവുമായിരുന്ന രമേഷ് ബേദിയുടെ മകനായാണ് നരേഷ് ബേദി ജനിച്ചത്.[1][2]
