നേപ്പാളിന്റെ പശ്ചിമമലനിരകളിൽ പ്രചാരത്തിലിരുന്ന ഒരു ഭാഷയാണ് ദൂറ,പാട്ടുകളാലും പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലുകളാലും സമ്പന്നമാണ് ദൂറ ഭാഷ.ഈ ഭാഷ അറിയുന്നവർ വളരെ അപൂർവമാണ്, 2001-ലെ സെൻസസ് പ്രകാരം ഗംദകി മേഖലയിലെ ലാംജങ് ജില്ലയിൽ 3,397 ആളുകൾ ഈ ഭാഷ സംസാരിച്ചുവരുന്നു. [1]
