ഡോക്ടർ ഫാസ്റ്റസ് (Doctor Faustus) എന്ന ചുരുക്കപ്പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന "ദ് ട്രാജിക്കൽ ഹിസ്റ്ററി ഓഫ് ദ ലൈഫ് ആൻഡ് ഡെത്ത് ഓഫ് ഡോക്ടർ ഫാസ്റ്റസ്" (The Tragical History of the Life and Death of Doctor Faustus) ക്രിസ്റ്റഫർ മാർലോ എഴുതിയ നാടകമാണ്. അധികാരവും അനുഭവവും സുഖവും അറിവും കിട്ടാനായി സ്വന്തം ആത്മാവിനെ സാത്താനു വിൽക്കുന്ന ഫാസ്റ്റ് എന്ന മനുഷ്യനെ സംബന്ധിച്ച ജർമ്മൻ കഥയെ ആശ്രയിച്ചാണ് ഈ നാടകത്തിന്റെ രചന. മാർലോയുടെ മരണത്തിനു 11 വർഷത്തിനു ശേഷം 1604-ൽ ആദ്യമായി പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച ഈ നാടകത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യാവതരണം അതിനു പത്തു വർഷമെങ്കിലും മുൻപായിരുന്നു. ഷെയ്ക്സ്പിയർ കൃതികൾക്കു പുറത്തുള്ളതിൽ ഏറ്റവും വിവാദപരമായ ഇലിസബത്തൻ നാടകമാണിത്. കൃതിയുടെ രചനാവർഷത്തേയും പാഠത്തേയും സംബന്ധിച്ച് നിരൂപകന്മാർക്കിടയിൽ അഭിപ്രായസമ്മതി തീരെയില്ല.^[1]
