ഡയമണ്ട് ബാർ അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ കാലിഫോർണിയ സംസ്ഥാനത്തുള്ള ലോസ് ആഞ്ചലസ് കൌണ്ടിയിലെ ഒരു നഗരമാണ്.[9] 2014 ലെ കണക്കുകളനുസരിച്ച് ഈ നഗരത്തിലെ ജനസംഖ്യ 56,784 ആയിരുന്നു. ഇത് 2000 ലെ സെൻസസിൽ 56,287 ആയിരുന്നു.[10] 1918 ൽ ഒരു മേച്ചിൽപ്പുറത്തിൻറെ ഉടമയായിരുന്ന ഫ്രെഡറിക് ഇ. ലൂയിസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്ത "diamond over a bar" എന്ന ഇരുമ്പ് ഉൽപ്പന്നത്തിൻറെ വാണിജ്യ നാമത്തിലാണ് ഈ നഗരം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഒരു പബ്ലിക് ലോസ് ഏഞ്ചൽസ് കൗണ്ടി ഗോൾഫ് കോഴ്സാണ് നഗരത്തിന്റെ പ്രധാന സവിശേഷത. ഡയമണ്ട് ബാർ കണ്ട്രി എസ്റ്റേറ്റ്‍സ് എന്ന സ്വകാര്യ സംരക്ഷിത സമുദായത്തിന്റെ ആസ്ഥാനവും സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു.[9][11]
പൊമോണ, ഓറഞ്ച് ഫ്രീവേയ്സ് എന്നിവയുടെ ജംഗ്ഷനിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഡയമണ്ട് ബാർ നഗരം പ്രാഥമികമായി പാർപ്പിടകേന്ദ്രങ്ങളും നഗരത്തിലുടനീളം ചിതറിക്കിടക്കുന്ന ഷോപ്പിംഗ് സെൻററുകളും അടങ്ങിയ പ്രദേശമാണ്. ബ്രിയ, വാൽനട്ട്, ചിനോ ഹിൽസ്, റോലാൻറ് ഹൈറ്റ്‍സ്, പൊമോണ, സിറ്റി ഓഫ് ഇൻറസ്ട്രി എന്നീ പ്രാദേശിക സമൂഹങ്ങളാൽ വലയം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടാണ് ഈ നഗരം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്.[12] വടക്കൻ ഡയമണ്ട് ബാർ പൊമോണ യൂണിഫൈഡ് സ്കൂൾ ഡിസ്ട്രിക്റ്റിൻറെയും തെക്കൻ ഡയമണ്ടിന ബാർ വാൽനട്ട് വാലി യൂണിഫൈഡ് സ്കൂൾ ഡിസ്ട്രിക്റ്റിൻറെയും ഭാഗമാണ്.[13][14] ഇൻറർനാഷണൽ പോളിടെൿനിക് ഹൈസ്കൂൾ ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു.[പ്രവർത്തിക്കാത്ത കണ്ണി] [1] സൗത്ത് കോസ്റ്റ് എയർ ക്വാളിറ്റി മാനേജ്മെന്റ് ഡിസ്ട്രിക് (AQMD) കെട്ടിടത്തിന് സമീപം നിർമ്മിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഹൈഡ്രജൻ ഇന്ധന സ്റ്റേഷൻ, ദക്ഷിണ കാലിഫോർണിയയിലെതന്നെ ഇത്തരത്തിൽ ആദ്യത്തേതായിരുന്നു.[15]
