തെറാപ്പോഡ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ പെട്ട ഒരു ദിനോസർ ആണ് ടൊർവൊസോറസ് . അന്ത്യ ജുറാസ്സിക് കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ ആണ് ഇവ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നത് . ഫോസ്സിൽ കണ്ടു കിട്ടിയിടുള്ളത് കൊളറാഡോയിൽ നിന്നും (1971) പോർച്ചുഗലിൽ നിന്നും (2014) ആണ് . കൊളറാഡോയിൽ നിന്നും കണ്ടു കിട്ടിയ ഉപവർഗത്തിന് ടൊർവൊസോറസ് ടാനെരി[1] എന്നും (ഹോലോ ടൈപ്പ് :BYUVP 2020), പോർച്ചുഗലിൽ നിന്നും കണ്ടു കിട്ടിയ ഉപവർഗത്തിന് ടൊർവൊസോറസ് ഗുർനെ[2] [3]എന്നും (ഹോലോ ടൈപ്പ് :ML 1100) ആണ് പേര് .
ശരീര ഘടന
[തിരുത്തുക]ഇവയ്ക്ക് ഏകദേശം 10 മീറ്റർ (33 അടി) നീളവും ഏകദേശം 4-5 ടൺ വരെ ശരീരഭാരവുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
