2000 മുതൽ ഇറ്റലിയിലെ എഡിസ്യോണി പിയെമ്മെ എന്ന പ്രസാധകർ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച് കൂടുതൽ വിറ്റഴിക്കപ്പെട്ട ബാലസാഹിത്യ പരമ്പരയാണ് ജെറോണിമൊ സ്റ്റിൽട്ടൺ (Geronimo Stilton). സ്കൊളാസ്റ്റിക് കോർപ്പറേഷൻ എന്ന പ്രസാധകർ 2004 ഫെബ്രുവരി മുതൽ ജെറോണിമൊ സ്റ്റിൽട്ടൺ പരമ്പരയുടെ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പതിപ്പ് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ ബാലസാഹിത്യപരമ്പരയുടെ രചയിതാവെന്ന അംഗീകാരം പ്രധാനകഥാപാത്രത്തിന്റെ പേരിലാണെങ്കിലും ഇതിന്റെ ആശയം യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ എലിസബെറ്റ ഡാമി എന്ന എഴുത്തുകാരിയുടേതാണ്.[1] പഴയ നോവലുകളിൽ പകർപ്പവകാശം "ജെറോണിമൊ സ്റ്റിൽട്ടൺ" എന്ന ഒരു അപരനാമത്തിനായിരുന്നു നൽകിയിരുന്നത്, എന്നാൽ പുതിയ പുസ്തകങ്ങളിൽ അതുമാറ്റിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ പരമ്പരയിലെ പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ 6 വയസ്സിനും 12 വയസ്സിനും ഇടയിലുള്ള വായനക്കാരെ ലക്ഷ്യം വച്ചാണ് പുറത്തിറക്കുന്നത്.  മലയാളത്തിലും ചിത്രകഥ രൂപത്തിൽ ഇപ്പോൾ "ബാലരമ"യിൽ ജെറോണിമോ സ്റ്റിൽട്ടൻ കഥകൾ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

പരമ്പരയിലെ, പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രം ഒരു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന എലിയാണ്, മൗസ് ദ്വീപിലെ ന്യൂ മൗസ് സിറ്റിയിലാണ് കഥാപാത്രമായ എലി താമസിക്കുന്നത്. ജെറോണിമൊ സ്റ്റിൽട്ടൺ എന്നാണ് അവന്റെ പേര്.

ജെറോണിമൊ സ്റ്റിൽട്ടണ് തിയേ സ്റ്റിൽട്ടൺ പേരുള്ള ഒരു ഇളയ സഹോദരിയും ട്രാപ് സ്റ്റിൽട്ടൺ എന്ന കസിനും 9 വസ്സുള്ള ബെഞ്ചമിൻ സ്റ്റിൽട്ടൺ എന്ന സഹോദരീപുത്രനുമുണ്ട്.[2]  ജെറോണിമൊ സൗമ്യനും പേടിയുമുള്ള സ്വസ്ഥമായി ജീവിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ഒരു എലിയാണ്, എന്നാൽ അവൻ തിയേ സ്റ്റിൽട്ടൺ, ട്രാപ് സ്റ്റിൽട്ടൺ, ബെഞ്ചമിൻ സ്റ്റിൽട്ടൺ എന്നിവരുടെ സാഹസികമായ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടു വരുകയാണ്. ജെറോണിമൊ വിവരിക്കുന്ന  സാഹസിക കഥകൾ ആത്മകഥാപരമായ ഭാവത്തിലാണ് പുസ്തകം എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
