2012 ൽ ലണ്ടനിൽ നടന്ന വേനൽക്കാല പാരാലിമ്പിക്സിൽ ഇന്ത്യയെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിച് മത്സരിച്ച ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ അത്ലറ്റിക് ആണ് ജെയ്ദീപ് സിംഗ് ദേസ്വാൾ.[2][3][4] ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിലെ ലണ്ടനിലെ 2017 ലെ ലോക ചാമ്പ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ പാരാ അത്ലറ്റിക്സിൽ ഇന്ത്യയെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിച്ചു, F42 ഡിസ്കസിൽ നാലാം സ്ഥാനം നേടി.[5]
ആദ്യകാല ജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]
ജെയ്ദീപിന് 5 വയസ്‌ പ്രായമായപ്പോഴാണ് അസുഖം മൂലം വാക്സിനേഷൻ നൽകുന്നത്.[6] ഡോക്ടറുടെ തെറ്റായ കുത്തിവെപ്പ് മൂലം ഇടതു കാലിന്റെ ശക്തി നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു. ചെറുപ്പത്തിൽ തന്നെ കായികരംഗത്തെ താല്പര്യം ഉള്ളതിനാൽ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളുടെ നിർദ്ദേശപ്രകാരം 2007 ൽ ഡിസ്കസ് ത്രോയിൽ പരിശീലനം ആരംഭിച്ചു.
തൊഴില്[തിരുത്തുക]
2012 ൽ ഏപ്രിൽ മാസം നടന്ന മലേഷ്യൻ പാര അത്ലറ്റിക്സ് ചാമ്പ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ സ്വർണം നേടി പാരാലിമ്പിക്സ്ന് യോഗ്യത നേടി.
