ഐപോമിയ ജനുസിലെ ഒരു മോണിങ്ങ് ഗ്ലോറിയാണ് ചുട്ടിത്തിരുതാളി, (ശാസ്ത്രീയനാമം: Ipomoea sagittifolia).[2][1] പല രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെയും തദ്ദേശവാസിയായ ഈ ചെടി പരമ്പരാഗത ഇന്ത്യൻ ഔഷധങ്ങളിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇതിന്റെ വിത്തുകളിൽ അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഇൻഡോൾ ആൽക്കലോയ്ഡ്സുകൾ ഐപോബ്‌സ്കുറിൻ എ ബി സി എന്നിവയാണ് ഔഷധഗുണങ്ങൾക്ക് കാരണം[3] ഇതിനെ ചിലപ്പോൾ ഐപോമിയ മാർജിനേറ്റ എന്നും വിളിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.[4]
