ചാറ്റ് ഗണത്തിൽ പെട്ട ഒരു ചെറിയ പക്ഷിയാണ് ചരൽക്കുരുവി അഥവാ സൈബീരിയൻ ചരൽക്കുരുവി (en :Siberian stonechat ). ^[1] ^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]. കേരളത്തിൽ മഞ്ഞുകാലദേശാടകനായി വിരുന്നെത്തുന്ന ഒരു പക്ഷിയായ ഇവയെ സാധാരണ സെപ്റ്റംബർ മുതൽ ഏപ്രിൽ വരെയാണ് കണ്ടുവരുന്നത്. വരണ്ട പുൽമേടുകളിലും കണ്ടൽക്കാടുകളിലും പുഴത്തീരങ്ങളിലും ചതുപ്പുനിലങ്ങളിലും കായൽമേഖലകളിലും ഇവയുടെ ആവാസമേഖലകൾ.
