ഇന്ത്യൻ സംസ്ഥാനമായ ആസാമിലെ ഝുബ്രി, കൊക്രജാർ എന്നീ ജില്ലകളിലായി സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന വന്യജീവിസങ്കേതമാണ് ചക്രശില വന്യജീവിസങ്കേതം(ആസാമീസ്: চক্ৰশিলা অভয়াৰণ্য)[1][2]. ഗോൾഡൻ ലംഗൂറിന്റെ പേരിലാണ് ഈ വന്യജീവിസങ്കേതം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഗോൾഡൻ ലംഗൂറിനെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനായി നിർമ്മിച്ച ഇന്ത്യയിലെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ വന്യജീവിസങ്കേതമാണിത്[3][4].

ചക്രശില മലനിര 1966 ജൂലൈ 14 ലാണ് ആദ്യമായി സംരക്ഷിതവനമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്. 1994 ൽ ഇത് ഒരു വന്യജീവിസങ്കേതമായി ആസ്സാം സർക്കാർ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു[5]. നേച്ചർസ് ബീക്കൺ എന്ന തദ്ദേശീയ പരിസ്ഥിതി പ്രവർത്തകരുടെ സംഘം ഈ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ പ്രധാന പങ്ക് വഹിച്ചു.[6]
