ഗോഫറസ് ജനുസ്സിൽ പെട്ട ഒരു കരയാമയാണ് ഗോഫർ ആമ(Gopher tortoise). ഇതിന്റെ ശാസ്ത്ര നാമം Gopherus polyphemus എന്നാണ് . യു.എസ്.എ യുടെ തെക്കൻ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ ഇവ കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.
