ആസ്റ്റെറേൽസ് നിരയിലെ പൂച്ചെടികളുടെ ഒരു കുടുംബമാണ് ഗുഡെനിയസീ. പന്ത്രണ്ട് ജനുസ്സിൽ 404 സ്പീഷീസുകൾ കാണപ്പെടുന്നു[3] പാൻട്രോപികൽ ആയ സ്കിവോല എന്ന ജനുസ്സൊഴികെ ഈ സ്പീഷീസിൻറെ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും ആസ്ത്രേലിയയിലാണ് കാണപ്പെടുന്നത്. വരണ്ടതും പകുതി വരണ്ടതുമായ കാലാവസ്ഥകളിൽ ഈ സസ്യം സാധാരണമാണ്.
