2018-ൽ ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്രസഭ അംഗീകരിച്ച "സാർവത്രിക ധാരണ" ഉള്ള മനുഷ്യാവകാശങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള UNGA പ്രമേയമാണ് കർഷകരുടെ അവകാശ പ്രഖ്യാപനം (UNDROP). ഔദ്യോഗികമായി ഗ്രാമീണ മേഖലയിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന കർഷകരുടെയും മറ്റ് ജനങ്ങളുടെയും അവകാശങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്ര പ്രഖ്യാപനം.[1]

2008-ൽ, കർഷകരുടെ - സ്ത്രീകളുടെയും പുരുഷന്മാരുടെയും അവകാശ പ്രഖ്യാപനം[2] ലാ വിയ കാംപെസിന പുറത്തിറക്കി. മറ്റ് സിവിൽ സൊസൈറ്റി ഓർഗനൈസേഷനുകളുടെ പിന്തുണയോടെ അത് ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്രസഭയുടെ മനുഷ്യാവകാശ കൗൺസിലിൽ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.

അന്തിമ UNDROP പ്രഖ്യാപനത്തിന്റെ വാചകം ചർച്ച ചെയ്യുന്നതിനായി 2009 മുതൽ 2019 വരെ ഈ വാചകം അടിസ്ഥാനമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചു. ലാ വിയ കാംപെസിന, FIAN ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ യൂറോപ്പ്-മൂന്നാം ലോക കേന്ദ്രം (CETIM) പോലെയുള്ള സിവിൽ സൊസൈറ്റി ഗ്രൂപ്പുകൾ ചർച്ചകളെ പിന്തുണച്ചിരുന്നു. ജനീവ അക്കാദമി ഓഫ് ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ ഹ്യൂമാനിറ്റേറിയൻ ലോ ആൻഡ് ഹ്യൂമൻ റൈറ്റ്‌സിന്റെ കർഷകരുടെ അവകാശ ഗ്രൂപ്പും നിരവധി യുഎൻ പ്രത്യേക റിപ്പോർട്ടർമാരും പോലുള്ള അക്കാദമിക് വിദഗ്ധരും ഇതിനെ പിന്തുണച്ചു.
