പന്നികളിൽ കാണുന്ന വൈറസ് രോഗമാണ് ക്ലാസിക്കൽ പന്നിപ്പനി. പന്നികളെ മാത്രം ബാധിക്കുന്നതും പന്നികളിൽനിന്നും പന്നികളിലേക്കു മാത്രം പടരുന്നതുമായ രോഗമാണിത്. സംക്രമിക വൈറസ് രോഗമാണ് ക്ലാസിക്കൽ പന്നിപ്പനി. ഇത് ക്ലാസിക്കൽ സ്വൈൻ ഫീവർ, സിഎസ്എഫ് എന്നും വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. പന്നികളിലെ കോളറ രോഗം അഥവാ ഹോഗ് കോളറ എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. പെസ്റ്റിവൈറസ് സി ആണ് രോഗകാരണം
