കെയ്റ്റ് ലാംഗ്ലി ബോഷർ (ജീവിതകാലം : ഫെബ്രുവരി 1, 1865 – ജൂലൈ 27, 1932) വിർജീനിയയിൽനിന്നുള്ള ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ നോവലിസ്റ്റായിരുന്നു. അവരുടെ നോവലുകളായ "Mary Cary" (1910), "Miss Gibbie Gault" (1911) എന്നിവയുടെ പേരിലാണ് അവർ കൂടുതലായി അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്.[1]
ജീവിതരേഖ[തിരുത്തുക]
വിർജീനിയയിലെ നോർഫോക്കിൽ ചാൾസ് എച്ച്. ൻറെയും പോർഷിയ വി. ലാംഗ്ലിയുടെയും മകളായി1865 ലാണ് ജനിച്ചത്. 1882 ൽ നോർഫോക്ക് കോളജ് ഫോർ യങ്ങ് ലേഡിസിൽനിന്ന് ബിരുദം ലഭിച്ചു. 1887 ൽ ചാൾസ് ഗിഡിയോൺ ബോഷർ എന്നയാളെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു. വോട്ടവകാശങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി യത്നിക്കുകയും രണ്ടാം ലോകമഹായുദ്ധത്തിൽ ദുരിതാശ്വാസ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിലേർപ്പെടുകയും അനാഥരുടെ ക്ഷേമത്തിനായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.[2]
1932 ജൂലൈ 27 ന് അവരുടെ ഭർത്താവിൻറെ മരണത്തിനുശേഷം ഒരു വർഷം തികയുന്നതിനു മുമ്പ് അവർ അന്തരിക്കുകയും വിർജീനിയയിലെ റിച്ച്‍മോണ്ടിലുള്ള ഹോളിവുഡ് സെമിത്തേരിയിൽ അടക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു. അവർക്കു കുട്ടികളുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.[3]
