കരിഞ്ചെമ്പൻ പാറ്റപിടിയന്റെ[2] [3][4][5] ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലെ പേര് black-and-orange flycatcher എന്നാണ്. ശാസ്ത്രീയ നാമം Ficedula nigrorufa എന്നുമാണ്.
മദ്ധ്യ- ദക്ഷിണ പശ്ചിമഘട്ടത്തിലേയും നീലഗിരി, പഴനി കുന്നുകളിലേയും തദ്ദേശീയ ഇനമാണ്. Ficedula പാറ്റപിടിയന്മാരുടെ മുകൾവശത്തിന് ചെമ്പിച്ച നിറമാണ്. [6]
വിവരണം[തിരുത്തുക]
പശ്ചിമഘട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഉയരമുള്ള ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ കാണുന്നു. പൂവന് കറുത്ത തലയും കറുത്ത ചിറകുകളും ആണുള്ളത്. പിടയ്ക്ക് കറുപ്പിനു പകരം കടുത്ത തവിട്ടു നിറമാണ്.[7][8]

മദ്ധ്യ- ദക്ഷിണ പശ്ചിമഘട്ടത്തിലേയും നീലഗിരി, പഴനി കുന്നുകളിലേയും തദ്ദേശീയ ഇനമാണ്. മറ്റൊരിനം കുന്ദ്രേമുഖ് ദേശീയോദ്യനം, ബബബുദൻ കുന്നുകൾ, അസാമ്പു കുന്നുകളുടെ താഴ്വാരം എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലും കാണുന്നു.[9] Some old records of the species from Maharashtra and Sri Lanka[10] have been considered dubious.[7]
പ്രജനനം[തിരുത്തുക]
മാർച്ച് മുതൽ മേയ് വരെയാണ് പ്രജനനകാലം. 2 മീറ്റരിൽ താഴെ ഉയരത്തിൽ പറന്ന് പ്രാണികളെ പിടിക്കുന്നു.t[11]) നിലത്തുനിന്നും പ്രാണികളെ പിടിക്കാറുണ്ട്. അതിർത്തി വർഷം മുഴുവനും ഇണകൾ സംരക്ഷിക്കും. ശത്രുവിനെ നേരിടുന്നത് പൂവനാണ്. പിട സഹായിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. [12] കൂട് പിടയാണ് ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നത്. ചാരനിറമുള്ള 2 മുട്ടകൾ ഇടും.[7]
