യുഗാണ്ടയിൽ ഭൂരിഭാഗം ജനങ്ങളും ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളാണ്, ഇസ്ലാം ആണ് രാജ്യത്തെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ പ്രധാന മതം.
ഉഗാണ്ടയിലെ ജനസംഖ്യയുടെ 14 ശതമാനം പേർ ഇസ്ലാം ആചരിച്ചിരുന്നു.[1] 2014-ലെ പ്യൂ റിസർച്ച് സെന്റർ കണക്കാക്കുന്നത് ഉഗാണ്ടക്കാരിൽ 11.5 ശതമാനം മുസ്ലീങ്ങളാണെന്നും, ടാൻസാനിയക്കാരിൽ 35.2 ശതമാനവും കെനിയക്കാരിൽ 9.7 ശതമാനവും ദക്ഷിണ സുഡാനികളിൽ 6.2 ശതമാനവും ബുറുണ്ടിയക്കാരിൽ 2.8 ശതമാനവും റുവാണ്ടക്കാരിൽ 1.8 ശതമാനവും മുസ്ലീങ്ങളാണെന്നും കണക്കാക്കുന്നു.[2] ഉഗാണ്ട മുസ്ലീങ്ങളിൽ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും സുന്നി. ചെറിയ ഷിയാ, അഹ്മദി ന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങളും ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്.[3]
2009 ൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച ഒരു റിപ്പോർട്ട് അനുസരിച്ച് ഉഗാണ്ടയുടെ കിഴക്ക് ഭാഗത്തുള്ള ഇഗാംഗാ ജില്ല ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ മുസ്ലീങ്ങൾ ഉള്ളത്.[4]
