അറ്റ്ലാന്റിക് സമുദ്രത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയുന്ന ഒരു സ്പാനിഷ് ദ്വീപസമൂഹം ആണ് കനേറി ദ്വീപുകൾ (Canary Islands /kəˈnɛəri/; Spanish: Islas Canarias , സ്പാനിഷ് ഉച്ചാരണം: [ˈizlas kaˈnaɾjas]) സ്പെയിനിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും തെക്കായി സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന സ്വയംഭരണാധികാരമുള്ള പ്രദേശമായ ഇത് മൊറോക്കോയിൽനിന്നും 100 കിലോമീറ്റർ (330,000 അടി) അകലെയാണ്. ഈ ദ്വീപുകൾ യൂറോപ്യൻ യൂണിയനിലെ യൂറോപ്പ് വൻകരയിൽനിന്നും ഭൂമിശാസ്ത്രപരമായി അകന്ന് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ (Outermost regions of the European Union) ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു [5][6] സ്യൂട (Ceuta), മെലില്ല (Melilla) എന്നീ പ്രദേശങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ആഫ്രിക്കൻ റ്റെക്റ്റോണിക് പ്ലേറ്റിൽ ആണ് കനേറി ദ്വീപുകൾ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്.[7]
