കത്തീഡ്രൽ സിറ്റി, അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ കാലിഫോർണിയ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ റിവർസൈഡ് കൌണ്ടിയിലെ ഒരു നഗരമാണ്. അനൗപചാരികമായി ക്യാറ്റ് സിറ്റി[6] എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഈ നഗരത്തിലെ ജനസംഖ്യ, 2010 ലെ സെൻസസ് പ്രകാരം 51,200 ആയിരുന്നു. പാം സ്‍പ്രിംഗിനും റാൻച്ചോ മിറേജിനും ഇടയിലായി സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഇത് തെക്കൻ കാലിഫോർണിയയിലെ കോച്ചെല്ലാ താഴ്വരയിലെ (പാം സ്‍പ്രിംഗ് മേഖല) ഒൻപത് നഗരങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ്. ഇൻഡിയോ കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ, കോച്ചെല്ലാ താഴ്വരയിൽ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ ജനസംഖ്യയുള്ള രണ്ടാമത്തെ വലിയ നഗരമാണ് കത്തീഡ്രൽ സിറ്റി.[7]
നഗരത്തിന്റെ തെക്കേ അറ്റത്തു സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന "കത്തീഡ്രൽ കാന്യൺ" എന്ന പേരിൽ നിന്നാണ് നഗരത്തിന്റെ പേര് ഉരുത്തിരിഞ്ഞുവന്നത്. ഈ പ്രദേശത്തെ പാറകളുടെ ഘടന ഒരു കത്തീഡ്രലിനെ അനുസ്മരിപ്പിക്കുംവിധമായതിനാലാണ് 1850-ൽ കേണൽ ഹെൻറി വാഷിംഗ്ടൺ ഈ പേര് തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത്.[8]
