ജാപ്പനീസ് ഭാഷയിൽ കോബെയ്ൻ-ഇനാഗോ എന്ന് പരാമർശിക്കുന്ന ജപ്പാൻ സ്വദേശിയായ നെൽവയലിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന പുൽച്ചാടിയാണ് ഓക്സിയ യെസോയെൻസിസ്. [2]:139ഇത് ഒരു ജനപ്രിയ ഭക്ഷ്യപ്രാണിയാണ്. സോയ സോസ്, പഞ്ചസാര, മധുരമുള്ള വീഞ്ഞ് എന്നിവ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഇത് പാകം ചെയ്യുന്നു.[3]
