ഇന്ത്യൻ ഫിസിഷ്യനും [1]എഴുത്തുകാരനും മുൻ ദേശീയ പ്രൊഫസറും ഇന്ത്യൻ മെഡിക്കൽ അസോസിയേഷന്റെ (IMA_GP) കോളേജ് ഓഫ് ജനറൽ പ്രാക്ടീഷണേഴ്‌സിന്റെ ഡീനുമാണ് ശ്യാം നാരായൺ ആര്യ.
അദ്ദേഹം നിരവധി മെഡിക്കൽ പേപ്പറുകളും മോണോഗ്രാഫുകളും പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു. [2] മറ്റുള്ളവർ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച പുസ്തകങ്ങൾക്ക് അധ്യായങ്ങൾ സംഭാവന ചെയ്യുകയും നിരവധി മെഡിക്കൽ കോൺഫറൻസുകളിൽ മുഖ്യ പ്രഭാഷണങ്ങൾ നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. [3][4]പട്ന സർവകലാശാലയിലെ പട്ന മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആന്റ് ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിലെ പൂർവ്വ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയും [5] ഇന്ത്യൻ അസോസിയേഷൻ ഓഫ് ക്ലിനിക്കൽ മെഡിസിൻ (ഐ‌എ‌സി‌എം) ഫെലോയുമാണ്. [6]ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന ഇന്ത്യൻ മെഡിക്കൽ അവാർഡായ ഡോ. ബി. സി. റോയ് അവാർഡിന് അദ്ദേഹം അർഹനായി. [7] വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്രത്തിന് നൽകിയ സംഭാവനകൾക്ക് 2008 ൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ സർക്കാർ ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന നാലാമത്തെ സിവിലിയൻ ബഹുമതി പദ്മശ്രീ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നൽകി. [8]
