എംടിവി ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ പേ ടെലിവിഷൻ ചാനലാണ്. സംഗീതം, റിയാലിറ്റി, യുവജന സംസ്കാരം എന്നിവയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പരിപാടികളാണ് പ്രധാനമായും സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്യുന്നത്. 1996-ൽ യഥാർത്ഥ അമേരിക്കൻ നെറ്റ്‌വർക്കിന്റെ ഇന്ത്യൻ പതിപ്പായി ഇത് ആരംഭിച്ചു. പാരാമൗണ്ട് നെറ്റ്‌വർക്ക്സ് EMEAA-യുമായുള്ള ലൈസൻസ് കരാർ പ്രകാരം ജിയോസ്റ്റാറിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലാണ് ഈ ചാനൽ. ചാനലിലെ മിക്ക പരിപാടികളും ഹിന്ദിയിലാണ് നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നത്.[2] എംടിവി ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ആസ്ഥാനം മുംബൈയിലെ വിലേ പാർലെയിലാണ്.

2014-ൽ, വയാകോം 18 പെപ്സികോയുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് ഇൻഡി സംഗീതത്തിനും ഉപസംസ്കാരത്തിനുമായി പെപ്സി എംടിവി ഇൻഡീസ് എന്ന ചാനൽ ആരംഭിച്ചു.[3] 2016-ൽ എംടിവി ഇൻഡീസിന് പകരം 24 മണിക്കൂറും സംഗീതം മാത്രം സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്യുന്ന എംടിവി ബീറ്റ്സ് എന്ന ചാനൽ നിലവിൽ വന്നു. ഇത് ആരംഭിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം, എംടിവി ഇന്ത്യ റിയാലിറ്റി പരമ്പരകൾ സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്യുന്നതിൽ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി.[4] വിഎച്ച്1 ഇന്ത്യ, അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര സംഗീതത്തോടൊപ്പം എംടിവിയുടെ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര പരിപാടികളും സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്യുന്നു, ഇവ എംടിവി ഇന്ത്യയിൽ സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല.

എംടിവി ഫുള്ളി ഫാൽത്തു ഫിലിംസ് എന്ന ബാനറിൽ എംടിവി ഒരു കൂട്ടം സ്പൂഫ് സിനിമകൾ നിർമ്മിച്ചു. 2004-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ധൂം എന്ന സിനിമയുടെ സ്പൂഫായ ഘൂം എന്ന ആദ്യ ചിത്രം 2006 ജൂൺ 2-ന് തീയറ്ററുകളിൽ റിലീസ് ചെയ്തു.[29][30] "ജാദൂ ഏക് ബാർ" (ജോധ അക്ബർ), "ബേചാരെ സമീൻ പർ" (താരെ സമീൻ പർ), "ചെക്ക് ദേ ഇന്ത്യ" (ചക് ദേ! ഇന്ത്യ) എന്നീ മൂന്ന് സ്പൂഫ് സിനിമകൾ കൂടി 2008 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 20 മുതൽ ഒക്ടോബർ 4 വരെ "ഫുള്ളി ഫാൽത്തു ഫിലിം ഫെസ്റ്റിവൽ" എന്ന പേരിൽ എംടിവിയിൽ സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്തു.[31]
