ഊട്ടി റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷൻ എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഉദഗമണ്ഡലം റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷൻ തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലെ ഊട്ടിയിലെ ഒരു ടെർമിനസ് സ്റ്റേഷനാണ്.[2] ലോക പൈതൃക സ്ഥലമായ നീലഗിരി മൗണ്ടൻ റെയിൽവേയുടെ ഭാഗമാണ് ടെർമിനസ്.[3]
ചരിത്രം[തിരുത്തുക]
1908-ൽ നീലഗിരി മൗണ്ടൻ റെയിൽവേ ലൈൻ ഉദഗമണ്ഡലം വരെ നീട്ടിയപ്പോഴാണ് ഈ സ്റ്റേഷൻ തുറന്നത്.[2] ഉദഗമണ്ഡലത്തിന്റെ റെയിൽവേ കോഡ് UAM ആണ്.[4]
നീലഗിരി പർവതനിരകളുടെ താഴ്‌വരയിലുള്ള കോയമ്പത്തൂരിലെ മേട്ടുപാളയം എന്ന പട്ടണത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നതിന് പൈതൃകമായ നീലഗിരി മൗണ്ടൻ റെയിൽവേയ്ക്ക് ഏകദേശം രണ്ട് മണിക്കൂർ യാത്ര വേണ്ടിവരും.[4]
