ഉംപ്ക്വാ ദേശീയ വനം ദക്ഷിണ ഒറിഗണിലെ കാസ്കേഡ് റേഞ്ചിൽ, ഡഗ്ലസ്, ലെയ്ൻ, ജാക്സൺ കൗണ്ടികളിലായി വ്യാപിച്ചുകിടക്കുന്ന 983,129 ഏക്കർ (3,978.58 ചതുരശ്ര കി.മീ.) വിസ്തൃതിയുള്ള ഒരു ദേശീയ വനമാണ്. ക്രേറ്റർ ലേക്ക് ദേശീയോദ്യാനം ഇതിൻറെ അതിരുകളിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. കോട്ടേജ് ഗ്രോവ്, ഡയമണ്ട് ലേക്ക്, നോർത്ത് ഉംപ്ക്വാ, ടില്ലർ എന്നിവയാണ് ദേശീയ വനത്തിൻറെ നാല് റേഞ്ചർ ജില്ലകൾ. റോസ്ബർഗ് ആസ്ഥാനമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന യു.എസ്. ഫോറസ്റ്റ് സർവീസാണ് വനം നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നത്.
