ആര്യ ദേവാക്കർ
ഹിന്ദു അസോസിയേഷൻ നിർമ്മിച്ച സുരിനാമിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ആരാധനാലയം (ക്ഷേത്രം (ഹിന്ദു ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ) ആണ് ആര്യ ദേവാക്കർ (Hindi: वही आर्य देवकर). സുരിനാമിൽ നിന്നും ലോകമെമ്പാടും നിന്ന് വരുന്ന ഹിന്ദുക്കളും അഹിന്ദുക്കളുമായ ധാരാളം സന്ദർശകരെയും ഇവിടെ ആകർഷിക്കുന്നു. പരമാരിബൊയിലെ നഗരകേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ ഇത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു.
ചരിത്രം[തിരുത്തുക]
2001 ഫെബ്രുവരി 11 ന് ആണ് ക്ഷേത്രം തുറന്നത്.[1]സുരിനാമിൽ ഇന്ന് ആര്യ സമാജത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട വിഭാഗമാണ് ആര്യ ദേവാക്കർ. 29,300 ഹിന്ദുക്കളുടെ പ്രധാന ക്ഷേത്രമായിട്ടാണ് ഈ ആരാധനാലയം കണക്കാക്കുന്നത്. സ്വാമി ദയാനന്ദ സരസ്വതിയുടെ പ്രചോദനമായിട്ടാണ് ഈ ആരാധനാലയം ഹിന്ദു പരിഷ്കരണ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നത്(1823-1883)[2]
