ഒരു ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് മോഡലും ചലച്ചിത്രനടിയുമാണ് എമി ജാക്സൺ (ജനനം:1992 ജനുവരി 31). തമിഴ്, ബോളിവുഡ് ചലച്ചിത്രങ്ങളിലൂടെയാണ് ഇവർ പ്രേക്ഷകശ്രദ്ധ നേടിയത്.[3][4] പതിനാറാം വയസ്സിൽ മോഡലിംഗ് രംഗത്തു പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയ ഏമി ജാക്സൺ 2009-ലെ മിസ് ടീൻ വേൾഡ് സൗന്ദര്യമത്സരത്തിൽ വിജയിയായിരുന്നു. 2010-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മദ്രാസ് പട്ടണം എന്ന തമിഴ് ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ അഭിനയരംഗത്തേക്കു പ്രവേശിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് തമിഴ്, ഹിന്ദി, തെലുങ്ക്, കന്നഡ എന്നീ ഭാഷകളിലെ നിരവധി ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു. ഏക് ദീവാനാ ഥാ, തങ്കമകൻ, ഐ, തെരി, 2.0 എന്നിവയാണ് പ്രധാന ചലച്ചിത്രങ്ങൾ. സൂപ്പർ ഗേൾ ടെലിവിഷൻ പരമ്പരയിൽ സാറ്റേൺ ഗേൾ (ഇമ്ര അർദീൻ) എന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത് എമി ജാക്സണായിരുന്നു..

ആദ്യകാല ജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]

ബ്രിട്ടനിലെ ഐൽ ഒഫ് മാൻ എന്ന സ്ഥലത്തെ ഒരു ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ കുടുംബത്തിലാണ് എമി ജാക്സണിന്റെ ജനനം.[5][6][7][8] അലൻ ജാക്സണും മാർഗരിറ്റ ജാക്സണുമാണ് എമിയുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കൾ.[5] എമിയുടെ മൂത്ത സഹോദരിയുടെ പേര് അലീസിയ എന്നാണ്. എമിക്കു രണ്ടു വയസ്സുള്ളപ്പോൾ ജാക്സൺ കുടുംബം ലിവർ പൂളിലേക്കു താമസം മാറി.സെന്റ് എഡ്വേർഡ്സ് കോളേജിലാണ് എമിയുടെ ബിരുദപഠനം പൂർത്തിയായത്.[9][10][11]

2008–2010: മോഡലിംഗ്[തിരുത്തുക]

ബോസ് മോഡൽ മാനേജേമെന്റ്, മോഡൽസ് വൺ എന്നീ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി മോഡലിംഗ് ആരംഭിച്ച[12][13] ആമി ജാക്സൺ 2009-ലെ മിസ് ടീൻ വേൾഡ്, മിസ് ടീൻ ഗ്രേറ്റ് ബ്രിട്ടൻ, മിസ് ടീൻ ലിവർ പൂൾ എന്നീ സൗന്ദര്യമത്സരങ്ങളിൽ വിജയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[14][15][16]

2010–2014: അഭിനയം[തിരുത്തുക]

മിസ് ടീൻ വേൾഡ് സൗന്ദര്യ മത്സരത്തിൽ വിജയിയായതോടെയാണ് ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിൽ അഭിനയിക്കുവാനുള്ള അവസരങ്ങൾ ഏമിയെത്തേടിയെത്തുന്നത്. 2010-ൽ ആര്യ നായകനായി പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മദ്രാസ് പട്ടണം എന്ന തമിഴ് ചിത്രത്തിൽ ആദ്യമായി അഭിനയിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യസമരചരിത്രത്തിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലുള്ള ഒരു പ്രണയകഥയാണ് ഈ ചിത്രം പറയുന്നത്. മികച്ച നിരൂപകശ്രദ്ധ നേടിയ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ഗവർണർ ജനറലിന്റെ മകളായാണ് ഏമി ജാക്സൺ അഭിനയിച്ചത്.[17][18][19][20] മികച്ച പുതുമുഖ നായികയ്ക്കുള്ള വിജയ് അവാർഡ് നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലുടെ ഏമിക്കു ലഭിച്ചു.

വിണ്ണൈത്താണ്ടി വരുവായാ എന്ന തമിഴ് ചിത്രം 2012-ൽ ഏക് ദീവാനാ ഥാ എന്ന പേരിൽ ഹിന്ദിയിലേക്കു പുനർനിർമ്മിച്ചപ്പോൾ ആമി ജാക്സണാണ് നായികാവേഷം കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്തത്.[21][22] ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഏമിയുടെ അഭിനയവും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.[23]

2012-ൽ വിക്രം നായകനായ താണ്ഡവം എന്ന തമിഴ് ചിത്രത്തിൽ ഏമി ജാക്സൺ ഒരു ആംഗ്ലോ-ഇന്ത്യൻ പെൺകുട്ടിയായി വേഷമിട്ടു.[24] ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിനയത്തിനു മികച്ച സഹനടിക്കുള്ള ഫിലിംഫെയർ പുരസ്കാരത്തിനുള്ള നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ഏമിക്കു ലഭിച്ചു.[25] റാംചരൺ, ശ്രുതി ഹാസൻ എന്നിവർ നായികാനായകന്മാരായ യെവഡു (2014) ആണ് ഏമി അഭിനയിക്കുന്ന ആദ്യത്തെ തെലുങ്ക് ചലച്ചിത്രം.[26]

എസ്. ഷങ്കർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ഐ (2015) എന്ന തമിഴ് ചലച്ചിത്രം ആമി ജാക്സണിന്റെ അഭിനയജീവിതത്തിൽ വഴിത്തിരിവായി.[27] വിക്രം നായകനായ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ മുതൽമുടക്ക് വളരെ ഉയർന്നതായിരുന്നു.[28][29] ചിത്രത്തിനു സമ്മിശ്രപ്രതികരണമാണ് ലഭിച്ചതെങ്കിലും ഏമിയുടെ അഭിനയം നിരൂപകപ്രശംസ നേടി.[30][31][32][33][34] ഈ ചിത്രത്തിനു ശേഷം അക്ഷയ് കുമാർ നായകനായ സിംഗ് ഈസ് ബ്ലിങ് (2015) എന്ന ഹിന്ദി ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിൽ അഭഇനയിച്ചു.[35][36][37] തുടർന്ന് തങ്കമകൻ, ഗീതു, തെരി എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ ശ്രദ്ധേയ വേഷങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തു.[38][29][39]

സൂപ്പർ ഗേൾ എന്ന പ്രശസ്ത ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ടെലിവിഷൻ പരമ്പരയിൽ സാറ്റേൺ ഗേൾ എന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.[40] എന്തിരൻ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ രണ്ടാം ഭാഗമായ 2.0-ൽ രജനികാന്ത്, അക്ഷയ് കുമാർ എന്നിവരോടൊപ്പം ഒരു പ്രധാന വേഷത്തിൽ ഏമി ജാക്സൺ അഭിനയിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

മൃഗങ്ങളെ സംഗക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള പെറ്റയുടെ ഒരു പരിപാടിയിൽ ആമി ജാക്സൻ പങ്കെടുത്തിരുന്നു.[41] മുംബൈയിലെ സെന്റ് ജൂഡ് ആശുപത്രിയിലും മറ്റുമുള്ള ചാരിറ്റി പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിലും ആമി സജീവമാണ്. പെൺകുട്ടികളുടെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനുള്ള പ്രചരണ പരിപാടികളിലും സജീവമായി ഇടപെടുന്നു. സ്വകാര്യ ജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]

2012-ൽ ബോളിവുഡ് നടൻ പ്രതീക് ബബ്ബറുമായി ആമി പ്രണയത്തിലായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും[45][46] പിന്നീട് ഈ ബന്ധം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു.[47] 2013-ൽ ബോക്സിംഗ് താരം ജോ സെൽകിർക്കുമായും ഏമി പ്രണയത്തിലായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷേ ഈ ബന്ധവും അധികനാൾ നീണ്ടുനിന്നില്ല.[48] സെൽകിർക്ക് ഏമിയെ ബലാത്സംഗം ചെയ്യുവാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചുവെന്നും അനിന്റെ പേരിൽ സെൽകിർക്കിനു 12 മാസം ജയിൽ ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണ്ടതായി വന്നുവെന്നും വാർത്തകളുണ്ട്.[49][50]
