പണ്ഡിത, ഹദീഥ് നിവേദക, നേതാവ് തുടങ്ങിയ നിലകളിലെല്ലാം പ്രസിദ്ധയായ സ്വഹാബി വനിതയാണ്‌ ആഇശ ബിൻത് അബൂബക്ർ (613/614 – 678 CE) അറബി: عائشة transliteration: ‘Ā’ishah [ʕaːʔiʃa]. ആദ്യത്തെ ഖലീഫയായിരുന്ന അബൂബക്ർ സിദ്ദീഖിന്റെ പുത്രിയായ ഇവരെ മുഹമ്മദ് നബി വിവാഹം ചെയ്തു.[2]

പൊതുവർഷം 614-ൽ മക്കയിലാണ്‌ ആയിഷയുടെ ജനനം[3]. പിതാവ് അബൂബക്ർ സിദ്ദീഖ്‌, മുഹമ്മദ് നബിയുടെ അടുത്ത അനുചരനായിരുന്നു. ഉമ്മുറുമ്മാൻ ആണ്‌ മാതാവ്.

വിവാഹം[തിരുത്തുക]
മുഹമ്മദ് നബിയുടെ ആദ്യഭാര്യ ഖദീജയുടെ നിര്യാണശേഷം മൂന്ന് വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞാണ്‌ അദ്ദേഹം ആയിശയെ വിവാഹം കഴിക്കുന്നത്. വിവാഹ സമയത്ത് ആയിഷയുടെ പ്രായത്തെ പറ്റി വ്യത്യസ്ത അഭിപ്രായങ്ങളുണ്ട്. 6 വയസ്സ് മുതൽ 18 വയസ്സ് വരെ വ്യത്യാസം പല റിപ്പോർട്ടുകളിലും കാണുന്നു[2][4][5]. വിവാഹം കഴിഞ്ഞ് മൂന്നോ നാലോ വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷമാണ് അവരുടെ ദാമ്പത്യജീവിതം ആരംഭിച്ചത്. അബൂബക്‌റിന്റെ കുടുംബവുമായുള്ള ബന്ധം ഊട്ടിയുറപ്പിക്കാനായി മുഹമ്മദ് നബി തന്നെയാണ്‌ വിവാഹനിർദ്ദേശം മുന്നോട്ട് വെച്ചത്[6][7].
