വടക്ക്-പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ആഫ്രിക്കയിലും ഐബീരിയയിലുമായി നിലനിന്ന അൽ മൊറാവിദ് സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിന് കീഴിൽ നിലനിന്ന സ്വർണ്ണനാണയമാണ് അൽ മൊറാവിദ് ദീനാർ (അറബി: الدينار المرابطي)[1][2]. സഹാറ മരുഭൂമിയിലെ തെക്കു-പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ഭാഗത്ത് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന സ്വർണ്ണഖനികളിൽ നിന്നാണ് ഇവക്കുള്ള സ്വർണ്ണം ശേഖരിച്ചിരുന്നത്[1][3]. സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിന് പുറത്തും വ്യാപകമായി ഇവ ഉപയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ടുവന്നു. ഐബീരിയയിലെ തന്നെ മറ്റു ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ ഭരണകൂടങ്ങൾ ഇതിനെ മറാവിദി, മറാബതിൻ എന്നെല്ലാം വിളിച്ചു വന്നു[3].
