മാൽവേസീ കുടുംബത്തിലെ അബെൽമോസ്കസ് ജനുസ്സിലെ ഒരിനം പൂച്ചെടിയാണ് വൈറ്റ് വൈൽഡ് മസ്ക് മാളോ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ നേറ്റീവ് റോസല്ല എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന അബെൽമോസ്കസ് ഫികുൽനിയസ്. ഈ ഇനം വടക്ക്, കിഴക്കൻ ആഫ്രിക്ക, മഡഗാസ്കർ, ഇന്തോമലയ, വടക്കൻ ഓസ്ട്രേലിയ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ തദ്ദേശവാസിയാണ്. ഇവിടെ ഇത് ഒരു സാധാരണ വിളകൾക്കിടയിൽ പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് പരുത്തി കൃഷിയ്ക്കിടയിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന കളയാണ്.
