റൊമാനിയൻ ജീവ ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞയും ഭിഷഗ്വരയും ആണ് അന്ന അസ്‌ലൻ (Romanian pronunciation: [ˈana asˈlan]; 1 ജനുവരി 1897 – 20 മെയ് 1988). പ്രോക്കേയ്ൻ എന്ന മരവിപ്പിക്കാൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന മരുന്നിന്റെ വാർധ്യക്യത്തെ ചെറുക്കാൻ ഉള്ള കഴിവ് കണ്ടെത്തിയത് ഇവരാണ്.[1][2][3] റൊമാനിയയിൽ വാർദ്ധക്യകാല രോഗങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനം നടത്തുന്ന വൈദ്യശാസ്‌ത്രശാഖയായ ജെറിയാട്രിക്സ് മേഖലയിൽ വലിയ സംഭാവനകൾ നൽകിയ വ്യക്തികത്വം ആണ് അന്ന . ലോകത്തിലെ തന്നെ ആദ്യത്തെ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഇവർ ആണ് തുടങ്ങിയത് ൧൯൫൨ , ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടന അഗീകാരം ഉള്ള ഒന്നാണ് ഇത്.[4]
