ഇന്ത്യൻ പോലീസ് സർവീസിലെ (ഐപിഎസ്) ഒരു ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനാണ് അനിൽ കാന്ത്. കേരള പോലീസിന്റെ[1] സ്റ്റേറ്റ് പോലീസ് മേധാവിയും ഡയറക്ടർ ജനറൽ ഓഫ് പോലീസ് (ഡിജിപി) ഉം ആണ്. [2] [3] കേരളത്തിലെ മുൻ റോഡ് സുരക്ഷാ കമ്മീഷണറായിരുന്നു. കേരള പോലീസ് വകുപ്പിലെ ചീഫ് തസ്തികയിലെത്തിയ ആദ്യത്തെ ദലിത് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനാണ് അദ്ദേഹം. ദില്ലി സ്വദേശിയാണ് അനിൽ കാന്ത്. [4][5][6]

പൊളിറ്റിക്കൽ സയൻസിൽ ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദധാരിയാണ് അനിൽകാന്ത്. [7]
സ്വകാര്യ ജീവിതം[തിരുത്തുക]
പ്രീത ഹരിത്തിനെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ച കാന്തിന് രോഹൻ ഹരിത് എന്ന മകനുണ്ട്. [8]
കരിയർ[തിരുത്തുക]
1988 ബാച്ച് ഐപിഎസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനാണ് കാന്ത്. കേരള കേഡറിൽ വയനാട് ജില്ലയിൽ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് സൂപ്രണ്ടായി ഔദ്യോഗിക ജീവിതം ആരംഭിച്ചു. തിരുവനന്തപുരം റൂറലിലും റെയിൽവേയിലും ഇതേ സ്ഥാനത്ത് സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു. വിജിലൻസ്, ആന്റി കറപ്ഷൻ ബ്യൂറോ, ജയിലുകൾ, കറൿഷണൽ സർവ്വീസസ്, അഗ്നിശമന സേന എന്നിവയുടെ മേധാവിയായും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു. കേരള പോലീസിന്റെ ഡിജിപിയായി നിയമിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് റോഡ് സുരക്ഷാ കമ്മീഷണറായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു.
അവാർഡുകൾ[തിരുത്തുക]
മികച്ച സേവനങ്ങൾക്കായി രാഷ്ട്രപതിയുടെ പോലീസ് മെഡലും കാന്തിന് ഓൾ ഇന്ത്യ പോലീസ് ഗെയിംസിന്റെ വിജയകരമായ നടത്തിപ്പിന് 2018 ൽ ബാഡ്ജ് ഓഫ് ഓണറും ലഭിച്ചു. [7][9]
