ഇരുപത്തിയൊന്നാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിന്റെ ആരംഭകാലത്തെ ചില പ്രത്യേക ഇസ്ലാമികമുന്നേറ്റങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇരുപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടാരംഭത്തിൽ യൂറോപ്പിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന വിവിധ ഫാസിസ്റ്റ് പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ, പിൽക്കാലത്തെ നവഫാസിസ്റ്റ് പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ, സമഗ്രാധിപത്യങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയുമായി ഉള്ളതായി പറയപ്പെടുന്ന സമാനതകളെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കാൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന വിവാദപരമായ ഒരു നവസംജ്ഞയാണ് ഇസ്ലാമോഫാസിസം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഇസ്ലാമിക് ഫാസിസം. ഇസ്ലാമോഫാസിസം ഫാസിസ്റ്റുകളെ പോലെ മനുഷ്യന്റെ ജീവനും സ്വത്തിനും വിലകൽപ്പിക്കാത്തതും ജൂതന്മാരെയും ജനാധിപത്യത്തെയും എതിർക്കുന്നതും ആണെന്ന് വാദിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.[1] യഥാർത്ഥവും അല്ലാത്തതുമായ വിവേചനങ്ങൾക്ക് എതിരെ പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യാൻ ഇത് നിർബന്ധിക്കുന്നു. സെപ്റ്റംബർ 11ലെ ഭീകരാക്രമണത്തിന് കാരണം ഇസ്ലാമോഫാസിസം ആണെന്ന് അമേരിക്കൻ പ്രസിഡന്റ് ജോർജ്ജ് ബുഷ് അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു.[2] എന്നാൽ ഇങ്ങനെ അല്ല എന്ന് ഉസാമ ബിൻ ലാദനും അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.[3] ന്യൂ ഓക്സ്ഫഡ് അമേരിക്കൻ ഡിക്ഷണറിയിലും ഓക്സ്ഫഡ് ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഡിക്ഷണറിയിലും ഇസ്ലാമോഫാസിസം ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.[4]

വിമർശനങ്ങൾ[തിരുത്തുക]

പണ്ഡിതന്മാരും പത്രപ്രവർത്തകരും ഒരുപോലെ ഇസ്ലാമോഫാസിസം എന്ന സംജ്ഞയെ വിമർശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ചരിത്രപരമായി ശരിയല്ലാത്തതും ലളിതവത്കരിച്ചതുമാണീ പദമെന്ന് ചരിത്ര- രാഷ്ട്രമീമാംസ പണ്ഡിതന്മാർ കണക്കാക്കുന്നു[5][6]. കുപ്രചരണം, വിരോധം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കൽ എന്നീ ലക്ഷ്യംവെച്ച് ഈ പദത്തെ ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു എന്നും വിമർശനമുണ്ട്[7][8]. "നാഷനൽ റിവ്യൂ" കോളമിസ്റ്റ് ജോസഫ് സൊബ്‌റാൻ, ന്യൂയോർക്ക് ടൈംസ് കോളമിസ്റ്റ് പോൾ ക്രുഗ്മാൻ എന്നീ വിമർശകർ അഭിപ്രായപ്പെടുന്നത് "ഭീകരതെക്കെതിരായ യുദ്ധം" പ്രഖ്യാപികുന്നവരുടെ കേവല കുപ്രചരണ സംജ്ഞയല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുമല്ല ഇസ്ലാമോഫാസിസം" എന്നാണ്".[7][9][10]‌. സുരക്ഷാവിദഗ്ദ്ധൻ ഡാനിയൽ ബെഞ്ചമിൻ, രാഷ്ട്രതന്ത്രശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞൻ നോർമൻ ഫിൻ‌കെൽസ്റ്റെൻ, "ദ അമേരിക്കൻ കൺസർ‌വേറ്റീവ്" കോളമിസ്റ്റ് ഡാനിയൽ ലാറിസൺ എന്നിവർ അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നത് ഒരു പ്രചരണസംജ്ഞയായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഈ പദം യാതൊരു അർത്ഥവുമില്ലാത്തതാണ്‌. ബെഞ്ചമിൻ പറയു ന്നു: ജിഹാദികൾ ഫാസിസ്റ്റ് ത്വത്വശാസ്ത്രം സ്വീകരിക്കുക എന്നത് ബുദ്ധിശൂന്യതയാണ്‌. കാരണം ഫാസിസം മുസോളിനിയും അദ്ദേഹവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടവരും വികസിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതാണ്‌ എന്നത് തന്നെ."[11][12]

സാംസ്കാരിക ചരിത്രകാരൻ റിച്ചാർഡ് വെബ്‌സ്റ്റർ പറയുന്നത് വിവിധ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ത്വതസംഹിതകളേയും ഭീകര-നുഴഞ്ഞ് കയറ്റ വിഭാഗങ്ങളെയും,മത വിഭാഗങ്ങളേയും ഒറ്റ വിഭാഗമാക്കി ഇസ്ലാമോഫാസിസമെന്ന പദത്തിലേക്ക് ചുരുക്കുന്നത് ഭീകരത എന്ന പ്രതിഭാസത്തെ അതീവ ലളിതവത്കരണം നടത്തുന്ന ഏർപ്പാടായിരിക്കും.[13]. കൺസർ‌വേറ്റീവ് ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ചരിത്രകാരൻ നെയ്ൽ ഫെർഗ്സൻ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുന്നത് തികച്ചും തെറ്റിദ്ധരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന കാഴ്ചപ്പാടാണ്‌ ഇസ്ലാമോഫാസിസം എന്ന പദം എന്നാണ്‌. മറ്റൊരു ലോകയുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്ന മഹത്തായ തലമുറയാണ്‌ നമ്മൾ എന്ന ചിന്താഗതി സൃഷ്ടിക്കാനുള്ള ഒരു മാർഗ്ഗം മാത്രമാണിത് എന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറയുന്നു"[5]. റിസ അസ്‌ലൻ അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നത് അൽ-ഖൊയ്ദ പോലുള്ള സംഘടനകളെ വിശദീകരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഈ പദം യുക്തിരഹിതമാണ്‌ എന്നു അനുഭവപ്പെടും എന്നാണ്‌. അതായത് അൽ-ഖൊയ്ദ ദേശവിരുദ്ധ ശക്തികളാണങ്കിൽ ഫാസിസം തീവ്രദേശിയയാണ്‌[14].

മാധ്യമ പ്രവർത്തകരുടെയും മുസ്ലിം വിഭാഗത്തിലും മാത്രമൊതുങ്ങി നിൽക്കുന്നതല്ല ഈ പദത്തിനെതിരായ വിമർശനം. കൺസർ‌വേറ്റീവ് എഴുത്തുകാരനും സന്നദ്ധപ്രവർത്തകനുമായ ഡേവിഡ് ഹോറൊവിറ്റ്സ് 2007 ൽ പ്രഭാഷണങ്ങളുടെയും പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങളുടെയും ഒരു പരമ്പരക്ക്(ഇസ്ലാമോഫാസിസ അവബോധ വാരം) കോളേജ് കാമ്പസുകളിൽ തുടക്കമിടുകയുണ്ടായി"[15]. ചുരുങ്ങിയത് 40 സർ‌വ്വകലാശാലകളെങ്കിലും ഔദ്യോഗികമായി തന്നെ ഈ പരിപാടിയിൽ നിന്ന് വിട്ടുനിൽക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു[16]. വിവിധ കോളേജ് കാമ്പസുകളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള മുസ്ലിംകളും അമുസ്ലിംകളും അടക്കമുള്ള നിരവധി പഠിതാക്കൾ ഈ പരിപാടിക്കെതിരെ എതിർപ്പുമായി രംഗത്ത് വന്നു.[17][18][19][20][21][22]. കാമ്പസിലെ ഒരു റിപ്പബ്ലിക്കൻ ഗ്രൂപ്പെങ്കിലും ഈ പരിപാടിയിൽ നിന്ന് വിട്ടുനിന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്[23].

2008 ഏപ്രിൽ മാസത്തിൽ അസ്സോസിയേറ്റഡ് പ്രസ്സ് ഇങ്ങനെ റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തു:"യു .എസ്.സ്റ്റേറ്റ് വിഭാഗവും ഹോംലാന്റ് സെക്ക്യൂരിറ്റി വിഭാഗവും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന അമേരിക്കൻ ഫെഡറൽ ഏജൻസി ഇസ്ലാമോഫാസിസം എന്ന പദം ഉപയോഗിക്കരുതെന്ന് ഒരു 14 ഇന മെമ്മോയിലൂടെ എക്സ്ട്രീമിസ്റ്റ് മെസ്സേജിംഗ് ബ്രാഞ്ച്(നാഷണൽ കൗണ്ടർടെററിസം സെന്ററിന്റെ ഒരു വിഭാഗം) നിർദ്ദേശിച്ചു. മുസ്ലിം ശ്രോതാക്കളിലും മാധ്യമങ്ങലിലും "ഭീകരതക്കെതിരായ യുദ്ധം" എന്ന പ്രഖ്യാപനത്തിന്റെ മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട അവതരണം ലക്ഷ്യം വെച്ച് മെമ്മോ പറയുന്നു:പ്രേക്ഷകരുമായി നമ്മൾ ആശയവിനിമയം നടത്തുകയാണ്‌;പോരാടുകയല്ല. നിരവധി മുസ്ലിംകൾ തെറ്റായി പരിഗണിക്കുന്ന ഇസ്ലാമോഫാസിസം എന്ന സംജ്ഞ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് അവരെ അവഹേളിക്കുകയോ അവരിൽ ആശയക്കുഴപ്പമുണ്ടാക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യരുത്"[24].

ഫാസിസത്തിന്റെ ആധികാരിക വക്താവായ വാൾട്ടർ ലാക്വർ, ഈ പദത്തെയും ഇതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പദങ്ങളേയും വിശകലനം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് ഇങ്ങനെ ഉപസംഹരിക്കുന്നു: ഇസ്ലാമോഫാസിസം ,ഇസ്ലാമോഫോബിയ,സെമിറ്റിക് വിരുദ്ധത എന്നീ പദങ്ങൾ ഓരോന്നും അതിന്റേതായ രീതിയിൽ അനുചിതമായ സംജ്ഞയാണ്‌. പക്ഷേ രാഷ്ട്രീയ നിഘണ്ടുവിൽ നിന്ന് അത് നീക്കം ചെയ്യാൻ കഴിയുമോ എന്ന് സംശയമാണ്."[25] ‌‌.
